What we collect

• Visit data (Google Analytics 4): pages viewed, approximate location (city or region), browser and device type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
• Email: if you email us, your address and message, used only to reply.
• Nothing else: no accounts, no sign-up forms, no newsletter, no comments.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga to tell visits apart. We use no advertising or tracking cookies of our own. You can block cookies for this site in your browser or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Google handles analytics data under its privacy policy.

Fonts

Our pages use the Nunito typeface from Google Fonts. To show it, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. Google describes how it handles this in the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

Who we share data with

Only Google (analytics and fonts, as above) and our web host, which processes standard server logs to deliver and protect the site. We don’t sell personal information, share it for advertising, or combine it with other data to identify you.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Our site doesn’t change its behavior for browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common standard for them. The only tracking on the site is Google Analytics visit counting; the cookie controls above turn it off.

Children

This Mom is written for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has emailed us, write to us and we will delete the message.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete any email you sent us, or ask what we hold about you, at hello@thismom.com. We keep emails only as long as needed to reply and keep a record of the conversation.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update this page and its effective date. If we ever add something new, such as ads, affiliate links or an email list, we will change this page before it goes live.
